How to Check Post ID in WordPress Dashboard

In the previous version of WordPress i.e. 2.5 and before, we are able to see post ID and page ID in WordPress’s admin panel very easily. But in the WordPress 2.5 and later, we are unable to see the post ID and page ID in admin dashboard.

First Method to Check WordPress Post ID
Go to your Admin Panel (Dashboard) after logged into your wordpress admin dashboard, Then you will see left side Navigation Bar, Select All Posts > now you will see all of your post here. Now slowly keep your mouse over the Post (from which you want to get Post Id) title and when you put your mouse over the title, you will see a message in Status Bar of Browser. Which will look like this.
The last number 2211 will be the WordPress post id.
Second Method to Check WordPress Post ID
So, you only need to edit your post then you need to check its preview in browser’s address bar. You will find an URL ending with a number, this number will be your ID. See below image. You will see number 2039 in the address bar of browser, this is your wordpress post id.
